From anemones to zinnias, with many traditional British country flowers between, our beautiful flowers are lovingly grown and tended in a walled garden just outside Bedford.  Our carefully-selected blooms are not forced and retain their natural scents and bright colours.  With minimal ‘flower-miles’ to travel, they can be cut and delivered within a few hours – the freshest flowers in Bedford!

The walled garden is bursting with colour from April until the first frosts at the end of October.  We continue to trial new cut-flower varieties.  Ask about our Fresh Flower Friday delivery service – or visit the Walled Garden to select your own blooms.

We are happy to provide floral arrangements outside our growing season by sourcing our flowers elsewhere.

About Howbury Farm Flowers

We are Lucy Copeman and Jane Leech, two mothers who gave up careers for our children and found flower growing!

The seed was planted at a local floristry demonstration class, when our teacher was chatting about the difficulty of sourcing good quality dahlias. We started by growing dahlias for her, then more flowers for other friends and still more flowers as we developed our weekly delivery service for homes and small businesses. We now fill our walled garden with a wide range of traditional, seasonal flowers for cutting.
